We Remember Katja Heim

After a long battle, our good friend Katja Heim passed away today. Katja first came to Austin to guide us through our inaugural race and was so valued – as a person and as a leader – that she later moved to Texas and became a full-time part of our executive team. Aside from bringing more than 30 years of Formula One experience to our event production, she provided mentorship, caring advice and affection toward so many at The Circuit.

Katja’s work enabled Formula One events throughout the world, and millions of race goers have enjoyed her efforts. At Circuit of The Americas, her signature will always be a part of our past and influence our future. “Chingy Bingy” forever!
